We are aware that natural resources are finite and that sustainability is our duty towards future generations. For this reasons, we put great efforts in the research and development of the best technologies and raw materials. Our company policy has always taken into account all environment-related aspects. Thus, during the years we have always applied the principle of [ - CONSUMPTION of NATURAL RESOURCES + ENVIRONMENT CARE - INDUSTRIAL COSTS + COMPETITIVENESS] to our standard approach for the dyeing and finishing of textile products. What has been our daily practice in the last decades has been now summarized in a logo signifying our environmental commitment, which our customers can use for their commercial initiatives:
We know that the activities of manufacturing companies, in particular in the field of textile finishing, have a massive environmental impact. Our stated objective is to minimize such impact through measures and initiatives to reduce all kinds of wastes and emissions.
All our equipment are fitted with power inverters; the heat of the water used for production is recovered by means of heat exchangers, while three high-efficiency boilers with 3 t/h throughput, ensure high yields and low emissions in conformity to the new regional directives on NOx emissions. The hot water storage tanks and steam conduits have been insulated with HE certified materials. Before being conveyed to the communal water treatment plants, the wastewaters resulting from the scouring, dyeing and finishing processes are treated in special mixing plants and systematically sampled to determine their quality. Wastewater treatment is carried out by Lariana Depur Spa, a mixed private/public company.
We plan our long-term investments, which span several years, allocating a significant part of our revenues to energy-saving initiatives and control the development of our efficiency with a strict control system.
Sustainability is one of our most important commitments.
